Claire has been a fine artist and in particular using oils to create an impressionistic, sculptured, look to her Paintings. She has been painting for many years. She studied under a New York Artist, Fred Sklenar, for four years. She also studied at Sailor Snug Harbor Art Center on Staten Island with various artists who gave instructions to students. Her specialty is landscapes, seascape, still life, and nudes, working in oils, pastels or charcoal. She has exhibited in many shows at Sailor Snug Harbor on Staten Island, in Manhattan and local charitable organizations and has always had a special feeling for fine art and displaying it.
